Building Osprey for the practitioners who deliver the plan.
Osprey exists because the tools available to special-education and related-service teams have, for years, been built either for the district's compliance officer or for the academic researcher — rarely for the person who actually runs the session. Compliance tools track the IEP perfectly and ignore the day. Data tools capture trials cleanly and ignore the plan. Practitioners carry the gap between them, every day, after the day is over.
Nisana LLC is the parent company of Osprey. We are a small, practitioner-informed team focused entirely on building software that respects how special-education and related-service work actually happens in schools, clinics, homes, and the long drives in between.
Osprey is built for BCBAs, RBTs, SPED Teachers, SLPs, OTs, PTs, School Psychs, School Counselors, General Educators, Paras, and Administrators. Each role has its own surface area inside Osprey: how a BCBA writes a behavior plan and runs DTT trials is not how an SLP authors articulation goals, and neither is how a SPED Teacher coordinates academic accommodations across general-education classrooms. Osprey shapes itself to your discipline rather than asking you to shape your discipline to a generic form.
The first release lands in summer 2026 with the planning, session-running, and documentation core for individual practitioners and small coordinated teams. After launch, our roadmap continues with deeper district administration features, expanded discipline-specific generation, and broader integration with the systems your team already depends on.
If any of this resonates, the most useful thing you can do today is join the waitlist with your role. That single signal tells us exactly which discipline and setting to prioritize next.
